To celebrate Beaumont Tiles’ 65-year milestone in 2025, the head office launched the “Beaumonts Bake Off,” inviting staff to design a cake that honours the brand’s legacy. My concept centred on showcasing the company’s evolution—highlighting that Beaumont Tiles is not only a destination for tiles, but for complete bathroom solutions.

The cake’s design reveals a miniature bathroom scene carved into one side, illustrating this broader brand offering. Inspired by the 2024 Tile of the Year, Pompeii Travertine Crema, each tile was recreated by hand-painting individual fondant squares to echo its warm, organic texture. A handcrafted fondant vanity and shower complete the interior moment, bringing the space to life with playful detail.

Externally, the cake was designed to be visually striking and conceptually aligned with Beaumont’s product palette. Drawing from Decor8’s “Zahri Bold Multicolour Honed Mosaic,” the exterior reinterprets mosaic stonework through marbled fondant in layered tones, creating a dynamic surface that feels both celebratory and crafted.

The final piece merges creativity, craftsmanship, and brand storytelling—an edible homage to 65 years of design.
